The second most popular rafting river in the Czech Republic is the Ohře River. It has a fast current and is peppered with rapids. Ancient castles or their ruins are perched on rocky overhangs along the banks. The river passes through the beautiful towns of Cheb, Karlovy Vary and Kadaň. There are campsites for every budget along the river, from the spartan to the hedonistic.
Advantages: swift current is quite stimulating and landscapes are awesome.
Disadvantages: lots of boaters.
