Covering 320km, the River Aliakmonas is Greece’s longest river. It is located in Northern Greece, and offers fantastic views and an intriguing natural environment. The river passes through Kastoria, Grevena, Kozani, Imathia and Pieria.

Depending on the experience of the group, different sections of the river can be chosen for your trip. Sections range from Class I to III. Grevena is great for beginners. It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the starting point from Thessaloniki.
